USD Collection
USD collection and invoicing for travel sellers
Request and collect payments in U.S. dollars for each booking or invoice, and keep payment status next to your booking records. Payment processing is provided by Stripe and other regulated payment partners, and funds are held at regulated U.S. financial institutions.
Who it is for
Travel agencies, tour operators, destination management companies (DMCs) and travel platforms that sell travel services to customers who pay in U.S. dollars.
8B Global serves businesses and payers outside Brazil, in U.S. dollars (USD) only.
What you can do
- Create a USD payment request for each booking or invoice, with the booking reference, a description and the amount.
- Send your customer to a secure payment page provided by Stripe. Card details are entered directly with Stripe and are not stored by 8B Global.
- Send payment receipts to your customer’s email address.
- Track the status of each payment alongside the booking it belongs to, for simpler reconciliation.
- Receive payouts in USD to your own verified account. Seller onboarding and identity verification are hosted by Stripe.
How it works
- You create a booking or invoice and a USD payment request in 8B Global (in the platform or through the Partner API).
- Your customer pays on a Stripe payment page.
- Stripe processes the payment and reports its status, which 8B Global links to the booking.
- Payouts in USD are made by our regulated payment partners to your verified account.
Scope
- USD only. Other currencies are not supported.
- Businesses and payers outside Brazil.
- Some travel categories are not supported, in line with the policies of our payment partners. Tell us what you sell and we will confirm eligibility.
