How payments work
Payment processing is provided by Stripe and other regulated payment partners, and funds are held at regulated U.S. financial institutions.
Who does what
- 8B Global Pay, LLC
- Technology: the software, booking context, Partner API, payment status and reconciliation tools.
- Stripe and other regulated payment partners
- Payment processing, card acceptance, seller onboarding and identity verification, and payouts.
- Regulated U.S. financial institutions
- Hold the funds.
- The travel seller
- Sells the travel services to its customer and requests payment in USD.
The payment flow
- The travel seller creates a booking or invoice and a USD payment request in 8B Global.
- The customer pays on a payment page provided by Stripe.
- Stripe processes the payment and reports its status. 8B Global links the status to the booking.
- Payouts in USD are made by our regulated payment partners to the seller’s verified account.

Card data
Customers enter card details directly in Stripe’s payment forms. 8B Global does not receive or store full card numbers or security codes.
